Triacetin (food additive E1518) is an oily liquid, odorless, colorless, not very soluble in water.

One of the glycerin esters is full, acetic.

Due to its properties, triacetin improves the quality of various food products, is used as a stabilizer that preserves the freshness of products, is not subject to fermentation, and does not have harmful effects.
